SEO for Small Business Part II: On-Site ...
Once your small business has determined what keywords to target through keyword research, your next goal is to make sure ...
Don't think it has been an easy ride. Far from it! Like any product development,
we had our plans and most didn't work out. And then we had to start over. Yes, we've
had our ups and downs but the fact that we have got to this moment – the Big Launch - proves
it was all worth it!
We could write a novel on how cognitiveSEO made it to the finish line – and maybe we
will someday – but for now here's a timeline of our glory moments:
cognitiveSEO started out with one man – Razvan Gavrilas – and then a few brave
soldiers joined.
This period of time was mostly dedicated to research. Hours, days and months of
research to find out exactly what was missing and what they needed to develop a
remarkable product that people couldn't live without.
The first concepts for cognitiveSEO were developed and then plenty of time and effort was invested in the back-end of the application.
Before starting to work on the development, surprise - in a matter of two days -3 of the brilliant minds behind the application decided to step down.
Welcome, new even more brilliant team! With plenty of training, we got back on the horse and started
the first mock-ups and the design of the site you’re currently on.
This is when we developed the link preview tool, for which we worked for about 12
months in order to reach the highest performance level. And we continued with carefully developing
the other complex features of our application.
The Private Beta Launch took place at SearchMarketingDay in Poland and the feedback
was not only extremely positive, but also useful.
Based on the feedback we've received, cognitiveSEO was improved to make it better and better.
Now all that was left to do, was work on the presentation for our users – that is YOU - and correct
the small bugs prone to appear, taking into account the fact that it’s a 100% in-house developed application.
We wanted to launch in October … Guess what … it never happened because of the actual BUGS we
had in the application. We wanted to go LIVE with something almost 99% bullet proof.
We postponed and from that day on we spent the whole month of November solving bugs and correcting
work flow issues.
You might think that it is easy to create such an SEO tool from scratch. Well, it might be
easy if you wanted to use that tool internally. But when you need to ship that tool to actual customers
the story is completely different. The tools must actually work (almost flawless) … pretty much
BUG free and in a continuous work flow.
We know we have a lot more to work on but we hope that you will enjoy using our application and that you it will save you many many hours (maybe full work days) monthly.
We launched the system to the waters and we had a great few weeks after the launch. A lot of people where showing interest into the service starting with the first day.
Here is a photo of the twitter stream ... just to make an idea how it went. A picture tells a thousand words!
We hope that Version 2.0 will have at least the same success that we had with our initial launch.
Thank you and looking forward for Version 2.0!
Razvan Gavrilas and the cognitiveSEO Team!
2 months since running the service we are launching Version 2.0 which brings :
Hooray!!
Here we are now. Being proud with what we have done and hoping that you will join the band-wagon and be part of the story that changed SEO forever. This is only the beginning!
